Strength and Conditioning Specialist Reveals...

"How To Triple Your Cardiovascular Endurance... Obliterate Excess Fat From Your Body... Build Supreme Strength and Speed... Kickstart Your Metabolism... and Restore the Energy and Vitality of Your Youth... All In As Little As Six Minutes of Exercise Per Week"

Now You Can Have the Stamina of an Antelope - Plus the Power and Explosiveness of a Jungle Cat - without Running 6 or 8 or 10 or 12 Miles At a Crack.. And It Doesn't Matter What Age or Gender You Are...

Dear Friend

If you'd like to have the aerobic capacity of a gazelle without killing yourself by running 50 miles every week and looking like an emaciated cadaver... then sit up straight because this is the most important letter you'll ever read...

Here's why: The greatest American myth is that you need to run long slow distance to get fit.

The people who believe this hype fall into two camps:

1. The skinny, skeleton-like, Dachau-looking people and ...

2. The fat people that run themselves into the ground without ever getting any results.

But, the good news is that there is a solution. There is a way to do cardio workouts in under 15 total minutes per day and instead of looking like a wasted corpse, your body will be sleek and muscular. And, you'll have boundless energy, explosive power and feel 10 or 15 years younger.

How do I know this? My name is Tim Kauppinen and I have coached strength and conditioning, track and field and football for the past 13 years.

Back in high school in Wisconsin, I was a champion sprinter and powerlifter... and played some football and soccer on the side... all sports where I did a lot of high intensity, low volume training ... including running sprints.

During those years I could eat and drink pretty much anything I wanted and stay lean, strong and full of energy.

This continued when I went to college at the University of Wisconsin. College life gave me plenty of time to work out - powerlifting, playing sports and running sprints...

But this all changed after I graduated... I got married, got a job and eventually had five kids. As my life got busier and busier, I exercises less and less and the intensity of the exercise that I did do got lower and lower...
Tim KauppinenCoach Tim Kauppinen

One day, I looked at myself in some photos from a vacation to Virginia Beach. I could barely recognize myself... I had gotten soft and out of shape. Those couple of extra pounds a year had caught up with me and made me look pathetic, fat and old beyond my years...

I had become the person I swore that I would never be and it scared the hell out of me...

My Family History Threw Up a Big Red Flag

Now, I knew that diabetes and high blood pressure ran in my family - both leading causes of heart attack. You've probably heard that more and more people are dying each year from these diseases.

In fact, both of my grandparents and my aunt had died in their early fifties from heart disease. Not only that but my dad had had a total of 10 heart bypasses and my cousin suffered a massive heart attack in his 40's. I did not want to follow their lead...

Like I said, I did not want any of those things to happen to me. I started looking for a way to get fit fast. What I found was that the quickest and easiest way to get into shape was by adding high intensity back into my workouts. I immediately developed a training program for myself that I now call Uphill Fitness Training.

Within Two Weeks...

7 pounds of disgusting body fat had been blasted from my frame...

Here is how this amazingly effective combination of old school training and state of the art exercise science changed my life for the better...

  • My heart and lung power and endurance ramped up to unheard of levels

  • I regained the self-confidence I had lost while getting older and out of shape

You see, once I got back into hill sprints, I couldn't believe that I had ever forgotten them. Funny thing is, as a football and track coach I had been telling my athletes to do this kind of training all along - while somehow ignoring them in my own workouts.

Like you, I needed a reminder of the types of exercise that work. Just like you, without regular reminders of the basics, I fall into bad habits that just don't bring results...

    FREE Bonus Number One

As I was finishing up plans for Uphill Fitness Training I had a thought: "Hey, I live in Wisconsin and can't always get outside to run hills... what do I do then?" And I know that some of you live in areas that are flatter than flat... what to do? Luckily, there is a simple answer - run stairs. And, to me, running stairs is just as good as hill sprinting to whip you into shape. Because of this, I cannot offer this as a "complete training package" without adding a bonus DVD - Stair Climb Fitness. This DVD (a $69 value) is as detailed and valuable as Uphill Fitness Training. It will show you:

  • The top 20 stair exercises to make you strong, lean, powerful and fast - there was a reason Rocky ran all those steps - and celebrated at the top!

  • The 5 stair drills that almost noone knows about - that you do while coming down the stairs

  • The detailed workouts you can use come rain, wind or snow anywhere you have a flight of stairs or a set of bleachers.

  • In fact, this DVD could sell all on its own - which may well happen soon. But, if you order now, you'll get it for FREE.

    FREE Bonus Number Two

But the package was still not complete. Many experts agree that a workout is as much mental as it is physical. So, I needed to include that piece of the puzzle. Because of this, as an extra added bonus, I will give you a FREE ebook - Get Fit Fast With the Power of Concentration (a $39 value). This ebook walks you through how and what to think about when running hill sprints. The final key to unlock your full potential. Without it, you are only training half-assed.

You get Uphill Fitness Training on DVD, Stair Climb Fitness bonus DVD and the Power of Concentration ebook shipped directly to your door for the low first anniversary price of only $157. "I wanted to email (again) and say thanks to Coach K for the superb product - Uphill Fitness Training. I used to be a distance runner, who got kind of burned out and got into Combat Conditioning. Then I discovered uphill sprints and my weight has gone down from about 220 to 215 in about 2 weeks. And whats funny is I haven't been watching what I have been eating. I feel great. I sleep better and I am amazed that I get such a great workout in about 20 mins."

    Thanks Coack K!

"Where I am: I am 6'4", 49 years old and never exercised regularly until 3 years ago... I've done the hill sprints 2 to 3 times a week for a month or so. In that time, I have cut an entire minute from my 1 mile run time: from 8 to 7 minutes and dropped about 3 pounds. There is no doubt that my endurance, strength and speed have all markedly improved from the sprints. (My) combat conditioning exercises are a lot easier also.

...Of course, I also feel like I've gotten a tremendous workout in a very short period of time; though I feel more energized than tired.

Thanks for the Uphill Fitness Training DVD; it is amazing how effective it is to SEE someone do something, as opposed to hearing or reading about it. It helped me a lot.

Something happened to me a few days ago that hasn't happened in 20 years: I was walking down the street and a woman who I did not know walked up to me and said: "You look great!" ...and THAT is priceless.

    Coach K--

"I am an ex- Texas high school football/baseball coach who gave up the profession to spend more time with my two young kids and wife. I stayed in teaching, but got a lot less active due to the different kind of responsibilities at home and work. When coaching, one of my favorite things to do was condition (lifting weights, running sprints, running stands, etc) with the players. It was a good opportunity to build strong bonds with the kids, not to mention a strong body for me.

I had been looking for new ways to be more time efficient when working out since it was not a built in part of my day anymore. I always found something better to do than go to the gym, excusing myself from working out much of the time. I started to pay the price so to speak putting on unwanted lbs and inches everywhere I didn't want them. I also became more cranky and found it harder to be energized to teach my classes.

I came across your (program)... and started running sprints and hills regularly and have seen some good results. I had not even considered sprinting as a way to condition without being a part of a team. Sprinting by myself never appealed to me. But concentrating on the sprints, being competitive with myself and focusing on improvement have allowed me to come to enjoy them.

I now do a routine of Matt Furey's Combat Conditioning movements and some kind of sprints/jump-rope routine daily. I am seeing great results in the weight department, feeling more energized, and my clothes are fitting much better again. Don't see any reason to stop doing Uphill Fitness Training any time soon."

    Hey there Coach K,

"Thought I would add my story to your soon to be bulging in box ...

I got Uphill Fitness Training a good 2 months or more ago. I instantly opened it up and flipped through it as I do with most everything I get. I watched the videos on the way home from work over the next few days and started an every other day regimen that I have stuck to more or less.

I got your program to see if I could quickly remove weight that i had recently added to my frame but also to give myself a better, higher intensity outdoor workout to compliment my indoor body weight and traditional lifting regime.

Well, after all this time, and missing a few days here and there for various reasons, I have knocked my weight down another 8-10 lbs, wasn't too big to begin with, but aside from that I can now get a superior quality workout in VERY little time or I can ramp it up to get one hell of a good sweat going as well.

Your list of dynamic warm-up exercises have really helped me be able to stick with the program where as I had stopped previous sprint programs after substantial hamstring pulls, if not tears, and various calf ailments.

Best news, for me at least in this time of the year, Football and Hockey, is that I can still knock back a few beers while watching the game and know that it isn't going to effect my overall weight. Tis a beautiful thing…"

"I am brazilian and live in São Paulo. The first time Íve read about Uphill Fitness Training on the Internet I said to myself: Finally someone has a solution for my endless timing at the gym!

I started to follow the program about 45 days ago. I do weight training 3 x /week . In addition, I was doing 45 min running at moderate intensity 3 times/week. Today, I have switched to 20 minutes of uphill training... early in the morning.

I realized something was going on by the first day. At night, I felt over-energized... it seemed my metabolism was running much faster.

I am 40 years old, 5ft 10” (179cm) and lost 8 pounds in 45 days - without any change in my nutrition or weight training program. I can say my nutrition is (and was) pretty decent, with 5 meals/day, only complex carbs, no processed or junk food, lots of fruits and vegetables. So the weight loss comes from changing my cardio training.

I can testify Uphill Fitness Training is a great solution for executives like me who are pressured by a busy schedule and are bored of endless (and useless) time doing cardio.

" I just turned 60 years of age last month. My daughter (age 36) and my grandson (age 10) and I select three or four 5K races a year and run them together as a family event. Years ago I used to run almost daily and have not done any serious practice for the past 10+ years. My grandson has beaten me every time we've run for the past three years.

I started the Uphill Fitness Training program in mid-summer with the intent to build up my speed and endurance. We ran a Labor Day 5K race and I no trouble enduring the heat and humidity of Houston, TX, but also beat my grandson by four minutes - the usual interval that he's beaten me by for the past several races. I truly believe in your program."

    Hi, Coach K,

"I was first introduced to uphill sprints by Matt Furey, but your course has really given me the 'nuts and bolts' that I needed to really implement it.

Currently, I am alternating the Uphill Fast Fifteen and deadlift lockouts and leg presses so that I do each every five days. I celebrated my sixtieth birthday with a 8.3 second forty yard dash[self timed] up a 15% grade.

All in all, my tone and strength in my legs and my cardio fitness has been greatly improved by this course and I have but scratched the surface. Thanks for the great advice."

    Hi Tim

I am a 54 yo Australian, who was trying to get back into shape. I started the hill sprints about aug 20 within the first 2 weeks I had lost about 4 kg in conjunction with a mild liver cleanse.

At first I was concerned that I may be sick---- however I went on a 10 km run, knowing that being lighter I would run better if I had the strength. to my surprise I ran well.

Over the next 2 weeks I continued hill sprints twice a week and a similar session on the bike. I got stronger and stronger. this was during a time of high stress in my business which was losing money and I had to go back in and work 14 hr. days.

The go hard and go home hill sprinting suited my limited time

One day last week I was out on my feet sat down and fell asleep---woke up and was still very tired---did my hill sprints then went back to work for 4 hrs. and felt great---I was amazed.

I knew I was getting results but had to prove it to myself.

1--- Castle Hill-- is a 980 metre --3 km climb--I ran with my friend Brad, who used to stop twice and do pushups while I caught up to him---I stayed with him all the way!!!!!!

2-------Last Saturday I went to my running club and for the first 1km I was with the leaders----of course I went out too fast---but I have not had that speed to do that for many years.

3------- On Sunday, I went for a run up Radar Hill with Roger who runs ultras, and does many hills--Radar Hill is a killer, the toughest run in our area,------ for many years Roger would wait for me at the top. On Sunday,I twice waited for him at stages on the way up--then he said to go ahead of him. When I reached the top I looked back for him and to my surprise I could not see him that convinced me I was onto something special

I am doing little distance but am at my old marathon weight - yesterday I did some yoga stretches ,and I was more flexible than in many years----I don't know why!!!!!

what I want most in life is more time---not more money---this fits in perfectly and I enjoy it!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Aloha Tim,

I just wanted to let you know that my family and I are enjoying your Uphill Fitness Training program. We've just started, this is our 3rd week, but so far we think it's great. My husband, our oldest daughter (age 10), and I all do a workout on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We love it because it doesn't take up a lot of time and also because, when we're done, we feel like we've gotten a good workout. The best thing about that, though, is that we don't feel completely beat up the next day which makes it easy for us to go back out and do it again when the next "Uphill Training day" arrives.

A couple of times, we were able to get some of my husband's family members to do the workout with us. My Sister-in-Law (age 13) has done the workout with us a few times. My two Brother-in-Laws have also done the workout with us, and my Father-in-Law just tried it with us for the first time yesterday.

They have a great hill right next to their house. We found another one (a bit steeper) up the road from where we live. So we have two great hills to use which is nice for a little variety. I know there are more, but we'll seek those out later. For now these two are perfect.

Like I said, we haven't been training long, BUT I can already see and feel more muscle in my legs and arms. The type of muscle I haven't seen since I was actively playing softball over 10 years ago. It's so great! I've tried running and other types of exercise to try to stay in shape, but it's tough to get excited to go on a boring run for 10-15 minutes. Plus, I didn't see the kinds of results I'm already seeing with your program.

Also, my husband, who ran track and played football in high school, has been grumbling to me for a while now about his fitness level. But prior to hearing about and purchasing your program, there hasn't been anything he's been motivated to do on a regular basis. Each day of working out was such a challenge - it was like he had to force himself to do something he knew was good for him, but didn't really want to do. My husband had experience with hill sprints before, but after reading your website and your e-mails, he was excited to know that it could help him get back into the kind of shape he wants to be in. He was the one who kept bugging me to get Uphill Fitness Training and, though we haven't even scratched the surface with all the different ideas for workouts in there (starting slow), we already love it, enjoy it, and are seeing results.

    Thanks so much!

"Thanks so much for personally getting back to me and I am happy to say I have indeed received your Fitness Fast Track newsletter and loved the information and motivation.

I live up on a hill, so I really only have to walk out my door and start sprinting, no more excuses. I had gotten so burned out on cardio,(the slow, long type) but really find that the hill sprint workouts give me so much more energy.

Also noticed a killer hill and stair incline combo that goes up the side of the mountain we live on and ends with an amazing view at the top, and I have vowed to make that my spring goal. It is funny how we search for all these ways to get fit, spend hours driving to the gym and trying the latest fads until we get wise enough to realize that the basics work best.

Thanks again and please feel free to use my testimonial.

Your daily motivation is great, have been bounding the stairs in my house and will be running after my kids up and down the sledding hills in the Swiss Alps next week on vacation.

Signed a "forty year old mother of three" who feels like a kid again with your training.

"Just so you know, I did run the marathon yesterday and survived it. I had never run more than 13 miles in my life, and that was over 15 years ago. Don't think I would have done it without the (Uphill Fitness Training). "

    Thanks

    Hi Tim,

I have been getting your emails for months now and only JUST ordered your (Uphill Fitness Training) program.

I live near lots of sets of stairs and have been running them for 12 weeks so far and the difference is amazing. Im 23 and after I worked in bars for 4 years, the smoke, bad food, too many beers, etc - I lost pretty much all the fitness I had gained in school.

I played indoor soccer with my younger brother and his mates last week and blew them out of the water (They're 18 and just finishing school - the height of fitness).

I ran faster, had no injuries and my soccer skills even improved (Haven't touched a ball in at least a year and a half)

I had no idea I could run around and not have that cracking sound in my ankles and knees.

Hi, I just wanted to comment that I wholeheartedly agree with "uphill style" training (UFT).

I am a 42 year old who started doing daily aerobics two years ago, properly doing "in the zone" as the "experts" say. Without major dieting I went from 240 to 205. My favorite machine was the stairmaster.

I changed it up a little last year adding a few short, 15-20 minute sessions per week which the "experts" said was not enough. Basically the intensity was a lot greater and there was no way I could do more/longer duration---used intervals, etc.

The result was I went to 195-197 in a few weeks. My resting pulse dropped from 55 to 44. By minute 16 on a harder duration workout my heart rate is at 160-165.

Without doubt the shorter, harder sessions must elevate your metabolism after exercise. What I have discovered is that 3-4 workouts per week of this nature suffices for cardio training--SURPASSSES the long slow training method!

Anyway, I have no hills around here in NJ BUT I did try the stair workout in my home! Holy Crap is all I can say!! ...after 12 minutes my heart rate was through the roof!!

If you're looking to get into serious shape, the Stair Climb Fitness workouts are awesome!

    Many Thanks

The past couple of days I've had minor cold symtoms, so after a short CC and Combat Abs workout at home, I left for the gym to take a steam bath to help clean out the sinuses. I also intended to do my improvised hill sprint workout on an elliptical trainer, but on the way - about a mile from my home, I looked at a small softball park I've driven by many times, but never stopped because the grass hill in this park looks too short and not steep enough. Thanks to Coach K..., I did a U-turn, went back and jogged slowly about 200 yards to the base of the hill. I sprinted the hill and jogged down 10 times for a total time of just over 11 minutes. It was a killer workout! The eliptical trainer doesn't compare - Tomorrow it's jump roping followed by more hill sprints. Thanks Coach K!

I'm one of those former die hard long distance aerobic exercisers, having completed 5 marathons (with a goal to never do another one!). Interestingly, Dr. Mercola and Dr. Al Sears are now both recommending high intensity / short duration cardio workouts (Mercola seems somewhat reserved on the issue). According to Dr. Sears, it is better for HGH release, weight loss, and heart health. Plus, it only takes a few minutes. It took me a few months and a little bit of research to come around as well.

Since I started doing uphill sprints in September, I've noticed my time doing laps in the pool has improved dramatically. I've always been a great swimmer and always had excellent lung capacity, but the increase in time has definitely coincided with sprinting, and I only sprint two days a week... Anyone else notice an improvement in their general workout once they've added sprints?

Thanks Coach K..... The amazing thing is that the people I swim with have noticed that, not only have I gotten faster, but i get faster in the middle of my swim, when most swimmers are starting to slow into a steady pace, I (accelerate) into a faster pace..... Thanks for the motivation.

    Hi Coach:

I have been hill sprinting for 3 months now. I took a weekend class and for a break we were to walk up this steep hill. The instructor looked at me (I was the oldest in the class at 53) and said it's pretty steep before we started up the hill.- I shrugged my shoulders.

Half way up the hill they were all huffing and puffing and having trouble carrying on a conversation. I was the only one in the group that was not huffing and puffing - they asked me why and I replied -- I do hill sprints.

"You're right-on about hill sprints. I do them and their a 100 times more effective then the endless 'cardio' workouts I used to do and that I see those poor stiffs doing on the treadmills everyday."

    "Thanks Coach K,
I really appreciated the awesome Uphill Fitness Training workout. My legs are hurting in a way they haven't hurt for a very long time and that's a great thing. You can quote that if you want! Have a successful week of high intensity.

    "Dear Coach K,

My name is Ray and I do Japanese style kickboxing. I'm currently progressing onto Muay Thai and I got very much interested in your Uphill Fitness Training and other conditioning. As I want to progress onto training without the myths sometimes kickboxing coaches think they know ALL about running but I am not certain with them. I know my trainer is good and I have confidence in him - in kickboxing and in Muay Thai that is - but I have doubts when he tells me about running - you know the pretty standard fare. But I knew that when I got to learn about your website, I had no doubts! I know that your tips and workouts will give me and is giving me the edge among other fighters in the ring!

I tried uphill sprints on a slowly sloping hill and WOW! That experience was an eye opener. I'm looking forward to run on two other routes. One route of the same hill, has a slow steep winding incline and there's an option to go straight via a stairway that has 105 steps. The other route is much steeper and it has too another stairway that has 95 steps. I'm looking forward to progress to these routes in the future.

I do less running since I get more of a workout on uphill sprints nowadays.

In full contact sparring, I feel I have more stamina and my kicks, though usually used from 20% to half-strength is faster and I hit harder! One thing that amaze me is despite the paddings we have for safety in sparring, my sparring partners have black and blue bruises on the padded parts of their bodies! Lately, I helped pay the hospital bills for my current sparring partner since I broke two ribs and yet we were wearing tough Muay Thai body armour. I am 5'6 and at 155 lbs and he is 5'9 at 175 lbs. Other than the usual fare of workouts that come with the sport(s) I'm in, I do bodyweight excercises as I need to maintain and progress in speed and in power and in uphill sprints I'm gaining MORE speed and power! Just to give you the idea of power, a 45 - 50 pound sawdust-filled punch-bag dents quickly and no I don't kick the top of the bag but at the base of the bag where it is harder. And for the idead of speed with those kind of powerful though still at half strength kicks, I could do 2 power kicks (this is are not Taekwondo kicks) per second. A favorite bag workout is kicking the bag counting one to ten to 20. One - is one kick, two is two kicks, three is three kicks and so on up to 20. It is a good workout to combine speed, power meanwhile building up stamina to deliver those kind of kicks. Once I started doing uphill sprints, the power and the speed and the stamina I need to deliver fast, accurate and powerful kicks surpassed that! My teammates noticed it and my trainers noticed it too and started asking, I just tell them that maybe I train a little bit more "harder". I owe it all to you coach K!

Thank you very much coach K!
